Hi! Thank you for taking the time and looking me up, I promise you will not be disappointed. Both you and your furbabies could not be in better hands. Before you get too far, for all boarding requests note that I have four resident dogs, 2 bigs and 2 Littles and all dogs must be crate trained for everyone’s safety while I am away. I also do not accept any dogs that have not been altered under 1 year of age. A little about me, I’m a 37yr old animal lover with 4 rescues who had their own issues to overcome. I have two pit bull mixes, a miniature poodle and a small wire hair terrier. I have fostered over 25 dogs in my life of all breeds and sizes including puppies to seniors. After a 14 year career in corporate america and after surviving my third layoff in 2018 I decided it was a sign that I'm not on the right path and decided to follow my passion for animals and their well being by starting my own business FurBabies & Friends. What both myself and my team can offer is exceptional care for your furbabies from Dog training, exercise, pet sitting (overnights, drop ins or boarding), basic grooming to adoption assistance. What my clients kindly refer to is as your one stop pet service shop. I personally also offer professional training services for basic obedience to leash reactivity or you can add on training to any walk/bike session for those pups that need a little help learning to walk proper. Walking with my dogs is my ultimate time to relax and unwind after a long day and its a great way to bond and travel as a pack. If walking your dog seems more like a chore or creates more stress then relief, I can help! My mission is to enhance fellow Furbaby lovers lives with their dogs through exercise, training, grooming and other services thus allowing every FurBaby to achieve her true potential and personality. We met Kristie in the fall of 2017 on Care.com and quickly became one of her very first clients. From the start, Kristie established wonderful relationships with our four cats and two dogs, so much so that we allowed her to take our two dogs to her house to play, or her dogs would come to our house to play. Kristie holds Socialization Saturdays at her home, where dogs of all sizes and breeds would get together and play. She is a wonderful animal trainer and does an excellent job managing both egos and tempers among the animals. Kristie also has fantastic grooming skills, from nails to skin issues/baths, and we love to treat our pooches! After one of our dogs passed last October, Kristie established a great relationship with our new Pitbull puppy. Our puppy was desperately afraid of men, so we began training with Kristie to improve our pittie’s person and dog socialization skills, and to help assuage our pup’s fears and encourage her confidence. Kristie is an integral part of our family’s lives, and we have come to feel like she’s family. We are most grateful for her breed knowledge and dog training capabilities; she has an innate understanding of each animals’ need and can quickly ascertain behaviors that need addressing. She is honest and forthright in her assessment of these behaviors and her concern for, and kindness to, the animals is always evident. She is their voice. We trust Kristie to come into our home and care for our dogs and cats on a daily basis. We also trust her to board our dogs in HER home and simultaneously care for our cats in OUR home when we leave town for business or pleasure. Kristie was wonderful. I was impressed from the start and very happy with the initial introductions of my dog with her pack! I know Willow was very well taken care of and had plenty of play time and exercise, she came home happy and tired! Kristie even offered to bathe and clean her teeth and ears! She sent pictures and updates and was very accommodating. I will definitely be using Kristie for dog training! She is awesome with dogs and I felt so good leaving my baby with her.
Kristie was great! Our dog loved her stay, and came back tired, and happy. She was also nice enough to gave her a bath and trim her claws!

Any toy possessiveness or fears, Leash reactivity etc. I want to know about all of your dogs quirks so I can be prepared and hopefully help. If your dog tends to get overwhelmed with too many dogs or with strangers my house many not be the right fit but I maybe able to help you through my business network.

I like to explore neighborhoods either through walking or if your pup needs to burn a little extra energy let me take him/her on a bike ride! Does the trick every time. Based on the business while boarding I may take your furbaby with to regular clients for extra socialization and playtime and may even have extra friends here for daycare or another boarder. I also run an air bnb out of my house so you can be sure your pup will get lots of love an attention in addition to extra socialization with Humans. As a dog trainer you should rest assured you’ll have a professional set of eyes on your pup to help with any behavior needs and we can also talk about board and train options while your furbaby stays with me to address certain behaviors for an additional fee.
