Pet care experience
I've been taking care of all kinds of cats and dogs since I was a kid; large breeds, small breeds, those with behavior problems, and even a few angels. Both my immediate family and extended family are pet crazy, and I'd say we're all the better for it (chuckling). My experience includes full time care for multiple cats and dogs within the same household (simultaneously) over an extended period. You might also be interested to know that my very first dog was a Great Dane, and consequently, I'm usually very comfortable around huge breeds. By contrast, my current and only pet is a pug; but I adore him above nearly all other things. I'll confess to being one of those people who would risk their own life to save their dog. Judge if you wish, you couldn't dissuade me if you tried, haha.

Kristian has done a great job walking our dog Heidi on a semi-regular basis. He is flexible and very reliable. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their dog taken care of.
Kristian was able to do a last minute cat sitting weekend for us and was so great with our cat! He got him to play with him and sent us cute pictures while we were gone. Would definitely recommend Kristian!

I don't offer boarding at my own home, since my husband is pushed passed his tolerance threshold for dog hair with just my pug here as is, haha. As for caring for animals at someone else's house, I simply listen to your preferences (dos and don'ts) and respect your instructions. Whenever I'm asked to watch a dog for extended period time, for example, some clients want me to stay over night, others request that I prepare their animals for bed, leave, and then come back in the morning. Either set of instructions is usually fine.

I like to learn about any relevant medical conditions, injuries, and behavioral history the dog(s) have before or upon meeting them for the first time.
A typical day
Games like fetch, find it, command training, sprints, as well as long distance exercises are all activities I like to use when trying to promote a dog's physical activity. For cats, lure toys are my go-to. As for walks, I tend to prefer walking dogs in parks and suburban areas, especially if a dog is reactive.

I'm currently in college, semi-full time (depends on the semester), and so I have plenty of spare time to help you and your furry family member(s). My class schedule varies, but I try to keep it as flexible as possible. You'll find that I am rather accommodating.
