Pet care experience
Available to walk dogs in your home or watch dogs overnight in my home. I am experienced in all breeds, especially bully breeds and am willing to accept small puppies (plenty of puppy experience). I am an active volunteer at a Philadelphia area dog rescue. Dogs must be dog/cat friendly to watch overnight in my home as I have a dog of my own (female pit mix) and 2 cats (all are friendly). I am located in the West Mount Airy section of Philadelphia, 15 minutes to UPenn Emergency Vet in the case of an emergency. September-May I am available on nights/weekends for dog walking and drop in visits, but can host dogs overnight any day as long as they can be alone during the day while I work. June-August I am available during the day as well (I'm a teacher).

This is the first time I’ve finally felt comfortable leaving my pup with a rover sitter. He comes back happy, tired, and evidently well taken care of ❤️

Loved having Kristi watch Oakley! She was very communicative and responsive. She sent me daily updates without having to be prompted and sent pics of Oakley clearly having a blast!

We have a large (for the city) fenced yard to run and play in and I walk 3x per day. When I am out of the home, dogs will be gated to the first floor to avoid any issues on the stairs (they are steep). When we’re home, they have free reign of the house, aside from the basement (that is the cat’s domain).

A typical day
We live 1 block from carpenters woods and love to hike with dogs when they are able (ours is past her hiking days). We are pretty active so dogs will get plenty of walk/play time.

Availability
I work full time. I am out of the house from 7:30-4:30 on weekdays but work close so can do a lunchtime let out for dogs who need it (my dog is old and lazy and usually sleeps all day). Evenings and weekends I am home all of the time. We usually do 3 walks a day (before & after work and before bedtime).
