Dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs!
Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life, cats for 30 years, and guinea pigs for six years. When my kids were growing up, our home was full of pets -- four dogs, five cats, and eight guinea pigs at one point, not to mention numerous dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and guinea pigs that I fostered. I volunteered for seven years in the cat habitat of the local animal rescue when I lived in NC, caring for up to a dozen cats and kittens-- I cleaned cages, fed the cats, observed them for illness or other problems, medicated them as needed, and of course played with them! I currently have one cat and two guinea pigs who get lots of love and attention from me.

Kristi was absolutely wonderful, it was my first time leaving my cats and she took wonderful care of them. She took the time to play with them along with the necessities. Would definitely recommend and will book her again!
We received excellent care and communication from Kristi. Couldn’t be happier about the attention to detail. All of the instructions were followed to a tee and we have 5 dogs all under one roof. Exceptional!
Kristi did a great job taking care of our cats and frogs. She communicated well and sent lots of pictures each day. She was also very patient with my elderly cat.. who sometimes needed a little ‘extra’. I will definitely book again.

My cat is indoor only. She hangs out with me while I work, usually keeping an eye on me from her chosen perch of the day. My guinea pigs share a large cage right next to my desk, and sometimes I'll hold one on my lap while I work.

Availability
I work from home 9-6 weekdays, with an hour lunch break in the middle of the day, so I'm available in the morning and at lunch for a check in and /or walk, and extended playtime in the evening. I'm available Monday through Friday in the morning before 8:30AM and the evening after 6PM, as well as anytime Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings. Ideally, I am looking for a regular care situation.
