We are huge animal lovers. All of our pets have been rescues. We have lived in the Philly area, the Bay Area, Orange County California, and most recently, the PDX area. Before owning our first dog, I used to volunteer at the local shelter to walk dogs weekly. This is how we met Lazy Lebowski. I completed a year long, college dog training course with our old dog, may he rest in peace, to take him from a timid rescue dog to a confident therapy dog. Lebowski and I visited hospitals, libraries and rehabilitation facilities on a regular basis, until his passing at 14 years old. We are currently in training with our new 10 month old puppy, Ginger. She is a shy girl, who loves other dogs. She gets socialization at local dog parks, overnight stays with friends who have dogs, and spends some days at doggie daycare. Our dogs travel everywhere with us! Camping, hotels, beaches, hiking, and restaurants (when allowed). We have always worked our lives around to make sure the pets are happy and able to join as often as we can!
