I have had pets in my home since 4th grade. My first paid pet-sitting experience was for my school bus driver when I was 16. Since then I have helped care for all sizes of dogs, plus cats, a bird, fish, a bunny, and mice. I have also fostered 7 dogs. In my own adult home I have helped raise kittens and a puppy. My most recent cat lived to be nearly 21 years old and I regularly gave fluid injections during the last 3 years due to kidney disease. My recently deceased dog previously needed oral medication and post-surgical care. Through fosters and pet sitting I have given pills, injected insulin, helped facilitate recovery from heartworms, alleviated gastrointestinal issues, and helped with separation anxiety.
