Hi! I have recently moved to the Aiken, South Carolina area from Ann Arbor, Michigan and have been walking and having fun adventures with furry buddies of all ages of dogs/cats for six years and have also grown up with horses, dogs and cats since I was wee little, they truly are my best friends! I’ve also helped furry friends who struggle with anxiety and work with them at their pace to get to know me and trust me and it makes me so happy to see them come out of their shells when they accept me as their friend! When my canine buddies and I return from walks I always give them fresh water and clean them up giving them a good wipe down if it’s been raining or snowing or if we played in the water or if they happened to get muddy. I also will give them a bath if they happened to get stinky from rolling in anything smelly silly goofs! I have experience giving oral medicine as well and feed if needed. Along with visiting with dogs/cats I also have taken care of reptiles, horses, chickens, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, fish, cows and birds. While parents travel for vacation I bring in mail/packages, take out garbage/recycle, water plants/flowers and change up lights throughout the house if preferred. I would love to help take care of your furry loved ones and while I get to know the area!

Kristen is an amazing pet sitter! She took time to talk to and pet each of our four cats, dropped by every couple of days and kept the house super clean and litters waste free. She even dropped off some toys and treats for them. Highly recommend!

I will take care of your home like it is my own and your furry loves will get all my attention during our fun adventure together! I also clean up poo right away if there is a fenced in yard we can play in and never let them out unsupervised, I am always where they are which they are always right on my heals keeping me company because they definitely know I am there for them and their needs!

If your pup suffers with anxiety I would love to do a meet and greet with them first with the parent(s) so they can get to know me before I go on my own and so I can learn any other needs that will help them feel more safe and comfortable with me. Meet and greets are more then welcome to all new furry friends I would love to visit and take on adventures as well so their parents can get to know me and know who is taking care of their loved one(s).
A typical day
I love starting our adventures with jogging or running especially with high energy pups, I have also done hour long visits with my previous dog walking company in Michigan with Rainbow Tails. If the pup is on restricted movement from surgery I like to mainly cuddle with them and hide treats around that they can walk to and search and do light playtime if allowed. We have fun cruising the sidewalks, dirt roads if no sidewalks and trails too! I’ve also taken pups to rivers or lakes so they can take a dip to cool off or play! I go in as well because I always keep their leads on and do not take them off leash and of course it’s nice to cool off too! Along with hour walks I have done dog runs in the past as well with my previous company for a few extra dollars more because I focus on running with them the whole visit until we return home. If it’s a rainy day my friends and I go out for a potty break and back inside for playtime! If they’re okay with rain I am happy to venture with them out in the puddles! I also bring towels with me in case they do not have one on hand to clean them up when we return home.

I’ve always loved giving all my attention to my furry friends and love seeing their beautiful smiles and silly personalities everyday and taking pictures of our daily fun together! I also love walking or cuddling whichever they prefer, usually it’s a mix of mainly walking and stopping for hugs and kisses and shorter walks for seniors followed with cuddles or just going for a leisurely stroll!
