Pet care experience
I’ve been responsible for animals since childhood. Growing up on a farm, I’ve been around every type of animal including dogs, cats, horses, goats, ducks, pigs, chickens, ducks, fish, and many more. I’ve had a dog my entire life and I’ve been watching pets for friends and family throughout the years. I’ve rescued dogs and cats and found homes for others. I volunteered at the Greensboro animal shelter for two years. I’ve had senior dogs, dogs with special needs, dogs with behavioral issues, and dogs with medical conditions, such as epilepsy. You can rest assured that your pet(s) will be treated as my own, which is pretty darn spoiled!

When your pet stays with me, they have a huge area to walk and play. My home is away from all main roads. We will be tromping through the forests and by the pond on a regular basis! Check out my photos to see the many places we have to walk. I can also help if you have some other small animals to be cared for, such as a lizards, fish, ferrets, Guinea pigs, etc. This list is not comprehensive so just ask me if you have any special requests. I send a daily update with info on our activities as well as photos. You will never wonder whether your babies are happy and what they’ve been doing without you.

Let me know if your pet: -has special needs -gets along with kids and dogs. My cats live outside on our back porch so that’s not an issue. -has separation anxiety -is on medication -is on flea and tick medication -is up to date on vaccinations
A typical day
We have tons of room to roam and explore. We take long walks and check out all of the wildlife on my property. I’ve got lots of toys for them to play with. Your pet will be hanging out with my 4-year-old lab mix and 10-year-old chi-poo. In addition, my kids (11 and 13) may help when I’m caring for your pet. We will spend most of our time bonding and I will always treat your pet as a member of my family. I know how stressful it can be when they are away from you so I do everything possible to help ease that anxiety.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule, which means I get to spend a lot of time with your pet. I’m at home full-time except when I have to go out for other pet drop-ins and walks. When your pet stays in my home, they will never be left alone for more than 2 hours. I am the most attentive dog sitter you will find. I only keep only keep one or two at a time so your pet will be my top priority. I’m available on call if an emergency arises last minute. Please note: I will do my best to work with your schedule but pickups must be made by 7pm or we will need to complete the pick up the next day.
