Pet care experience
I’ve had pets ever since I was little, ranging from hamsters to cats to newborn puppies and grown dogs. They’ve been a big part of my life and can’t imagine living without them! As an adult I adopted my first pup 8 years ago (I immediately fell in love with him!) and most recently, adopted our girl pup almost 2 years ago. I have experience from raising newborn puppies through caring for older dogs, attended training classes, and have cared for many friends and family pets. I believe in treating anyone else’s dog just as we treat ours - with love, care & as part of the family!

Kristen has been awesome for our two boys. She's been able to help us out a number of times, for over a week at times, and the boys seem happy to be there! Very responsive with any questions and sending cute pics while we are away. We trust her completely with our dogs!
There is nothing like knowing your dog is safe and taken care of when you are away and Kristen did just that! She was amazing at sending me pictures and updates. Plus now I know where to go for puppy play dates because our dogs got along so well. Kristen is my go to from now on and she should be yours too. 100% recommend Kristen.
I Used Kristen’s services in the past and we liked the way she was with our pet and her dogs loved our dogs. If we leave town we’ll definitely use her again.
Kristen watched our dog Macy while my husband and I were traveling. She kept in touch with me and sent pictures of her (although Macy is a bit camera shy)! Macy can be a bit skittish but she got along fine with Kristen's dogs. I'll be using Kristen again whenever we go out of town and need a dog sitter.

We have two friendly dogs who love people & other dogs just the same. Gage is our older, little guy who still gets spurts of energy and zoomies from time to time. Harper is our younger, not so little girl who has a personality like no other and loves playtime. We have a nice size fenced in backyard for them to run and play in, as well as a large screened in porch if they want to hang out there, or beds aplenty for nap time inside. We live in an area with lots of walking trails, so no worries on them getting their daily walk. If you prefer to have your dog crated at any time, just let me know. Once we do our meet & greet, feel free to give me any feeding instructions or any other information you feel would be helpful while taking care of your pup. We (and Gage & Harper) look forward to spending time & getting to know your dog(s)!

Let me know if there is anything that would be helpful while watching your dog - personality quirks, feeding schedule, good/not good at walking on leash, etc. We do ask that your dog be up-to-date on their vaccinations, and please let us know if they are currently on flea/tick medicine.
A typical day
Your dog will have lots of fun exploring our backyard, running around with our dogs and lots of toys we play with them inside the house! Feel free to bring any of their favorites along, too. We also have plenty of walking paths within the community to get them out on a nice walk each day.

I work from home so I’m lucky enough to be home and to tend to my dogs throughout the day - whether that’s intermittent playtime during the day, letting them out to potty whenever they feel the need or just to sunbathe outside, which is one of their favorite things to do. When your dog stays with us, just know they will be well taken care of, have plenty of play time and loved on!
