Hello Friends! My name is Kristen and I’m the biggest animal lover! I grew up in a family that saves puppy mill dogs and have always had at least 3 pet siblings (my parents currently have 5 dogs and 2 cats)! I have both a 1 year old cat and a 12 year old pittie named Cooper - they are my whole world! I love animals so much (even more than humans - sorry!) and would do pretty much anything for any animal. I’m so passionate about animals, that I became vegetarian over 15 years ago due to animal right issues. I currently volunteer at multiple animal rescue nonprofits and dream of opening an animal sanctuary one day :) I have extensive experience with senior pups and have successfully given medication such as eye drops and insulin shots to pets - even when they really squirm and don't want the medicine :) Also, one of my parent's dogs was born without his back two legs - so I have experience handling disabled pups who need diaper changes and help getting into their "wheels".
