I have grown up around and cared for animals my entire life. From my teenage years through today I have helped raise, train and provide care for both puppies and kittens, as well as senior dogs and cats. I am comfortable with and knowledgeable about all levels of care from feeding, to exercising, to bathing, to administering medications, to wound care and even holistic treatments. I love all types of breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. I even find many other animals interesting and fun, like horses, parrots, lizards, ferrets, hamsters, pot belly pigs, and goats...just to name a few! I find joy in caring for and loving animals and will provide superior care, love and support for your animals.

Kristen helped watch our dog on very short notice while we were on vacation and plans with another sitter fell through. She was very thorough and great with communication, always giving me detailed “report cards” on our pets along with pictures. She gave us comfort being away from our animals and we would trust her with any pet!
Kristen is a very caring pet owner. She takes wonderful care of her dog. She was extremely helpful when her mother's dog had a brain tumor. She would help medicate the dog and guide and help her mother with his care. She home cooks a wonderful balanced diet for her pet and regularly walks her dog. Kristen is a responsible and loving pet caregiver.
Kristen is a true animal lover. She has 2 beautiful poodles that she takes great care of. She makes their food which is of very high quality. They are walked regularly around our farm as well as many adjoining properties. She also is a horse lover and is an excellent equestrian. When my horses escaped from the property she helped catch them and brought them home. She has also helped the wild life. She is truly a responsible and loving pet caregiver.

Please let me know what your animals routine is ... when do they eat, how often do they go out, what length of walk do they typically get, do they like to play with balls, frisbees or other toys, do they get treats? I also like to know about their personality and disposition... are they friendly with other dogs or people, do they have separation anxiety, are they food aggressive, do they ride well in cars, what commands do they know? Finally, does your dog have any special needs or quirky traits that I should know about?
A typical day
I love to keep dogs active with both mental and physical stimulation! I'm always up for a good adventure to a new park or nice hiking trail. Dogs love new smells! If it's a rainy day I will play inside with your dog using whatever methods I can ... I have been known to play hide & seek, bring stimulating doggie games over, and practice their commands with fun treats.
