I have always been a huge animal lover with a giant heart for all things cute, cuddly, and fuzzy. Growing up, I begged and pleaded with my parents to get a dog so that I could play with it and take care of it. We didn't have a backyard that would accommodate the needs of one in our first house, however, so I settled for smaller animals like a hampster, rabbit, fish and hermit crabs. Once we moved into a bigger house with a nice fenced-in backyard, we finally were able to get a dog. I was at the pet store first thing when they opened the morning we were going to finally pick up our pooch, having already chosen an adorable Corgi puppy named Spencer--and it was love at first site! I was his caretaker for 13 years until he passed away from old age. Since then, I've fostered kittens and cats, but have always lived in apartments that did not allow dogs. I have not yet gotten another dog, but I plan to once I am not longer renting and have a space that's solely mine. In the meantime, I will take care of yours and love him/her as if they were my own :) My personal routine for taking care of your pet will involve plenty of exercise, compassion, and interaction with your pet. I will make sure that the dogs I sit get at least 3 walks a day, one of which is extra long (at least 30 minutes). I would love to take your pet to a local dog park if he/she enjoys this, andI have a few located close to my home. I am currently a full-time online student, which makes it easy for me to regularly walk and feed while dog sitting. I also live with my boyfriend - who has had ample experience with multiple cats and dogs growing up - and will be able to help out in taking care of your fuzzy friend. I live in a spacious 2 bedroom condo with access to plenty of outdoor space and parks. We are situated the quiet and serene Bay Pointe Villas in Seabrook Island, SC.
