I really can’t remember how old I was when my family got our first dog, Sheba. Sheba was a German Sheppard. My mom has always been an animal nut and I suppose she passed the gene down to me. I love them all. I currently have two dogs, Zoey and Sheila. Zoey is the elderly senile grandma and Sheila is the adult Australian Sheppard mix with all the energy. I also have a cat, Purrl, who gets along with both dogs. I should probably say she tolerates more than “gets along with.” I’ve been taking care of dogs for many years unpaid. I haven’t really had many pet sitting jobs that are paid because most of the time I just take care of my parents dogs, cats, bird, and horses for them for free when they go out of town.
