Pet care experience
Pets have been an important part of my life since I was born. I’ve always had them. Growing up I mostly had cats and then as I got older we added in dogs. I even bred two of mine at one point and had a little of puppies so we could have a whole family. I’m absolutely one of those people who kiss their animals and let them kiss me back. If your pet needs cuddles and hugs while you’re gone I’m definitely your person. Of course I’m good at feeling out your feline pets as well as they have their own unique personalities when it comes to love lol.

Kristen is one of the most loving people I have ever met. I have known her most of her life and seen the love she has for animals first hand. There’s not much she wouldn’t do for them. She’s looked over my own pets over the years when out of town or busy with work and I always know they are in good hands. She has a natural understanding of how important it is to just do little things they’re familiar with in order to help reduce stress and anxiety. I couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of my fur babies and I never worry when she’s caring for them. I love that she updates me and sends me pics as well because it just helps me feel like I’m there.

I currently have three dogs and two cats. I would be better to do drop in visits or in your home care, however with enough notice I could easily accommodate animals in my home if need be. I have a fenced in back yard and would keep my animals separate just in case of any clashing temperaments.

Just let me know anything I need to know. I have enough experience to be able to care for any animal, but you know your pets best. What makes them happiest, nervous, scared, etc. Special diets, house rules, anything to make it better and less stressful for them while the already unavoidable stress of you not being there is occurring.
A typical day
I like to get an idea of what your pets are used to. Find out from you what a typical day is like for them and then try and accommodate that the best I can. I believe animals are just like people and consistency and structure are important to reduce stress for them as well. If they’re used to playing fetch and cuddling on the couch then that’s what we’ll do. If they like to run around outside and do their own thing that’s fine too.

Availability
I work full time but overnight. So I typically am available most of the day and can work with most needs. I have a toddler so I’m pretty much always up minus her nap time which is why I didn’t include afternoon availability.
