Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Kristen and I love dogs. I grew up with dogs my whole life and until my husband and I get a dog of our own we are trying to decide what kind of dog we should get & when we should get them! So in the mean time we would love to take care of your dog to get some doggie play time in. I am a physical therapist currently applying for jobs. I am very active and would love to take your dog out for walks & to play catch while you're unable to! Why I love dog sitting My husband and I both grew up with dogs and have had them since we were small children. He grew up with small dogs & also labs. I grew up with a dalmatian, german shepard & other mutts that were medium & small sized. We take any advantage to play with dogs or dog sit for friends. They just make your day so much happier!

Kristen and Mike are so great with Tenley and very gracious and accommodating with our schedule. They sent photos every day and took wonderful care of Tenley. I suspect she wants us to go away again soon so she can visit again.

I would like to know if they are barkers, or afraid of anything in particular like thunderstorms or other dogs etc so I'm prepared! We don't have any breed preferences as we are lovers of all dogs, however we do really like medium to large dogs as we grew up with them!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks As I listed above I would take your dog for walks on trails in the area or around the lake in our complex which as a 3/4 mile loop. I would also take them to the dog park if that's something they would like so they can run around a bit. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep wherever, we are not too picky. I don't mind dogs being on the bed or on the couch, however if their at home rules are to sleep on their own bed or on the floor then I will make sure that is what they do so they don't get confused (unless you want me to spoil them which I'm more then happy to do too :) Time I'll spend with your dog We plan on spending as much time as we can. I only work 4 times a week so there will be 3 whole days I get to spend all day with them. The other 4 days we both work however my boyfriend works 4 miles from home and is able to come back midday to take the dog out and spend some time with them before heading back. Then we both are back around 5-7 and we of course will spend the whole weekend with them.
