Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Kristen — bonafide cat lady, most likely to talk to a dog before their human in public. I live in NE Portland with my partner and our 2 cats, and feel very lucky to work from home or work easily on the go. It's always great to get out of the house and walk a pup (yes, even in February), to run around the city meeting new pets, or to housesit a furry friend for a while. I fell in love with dogs when a very special senior dachshund came into my life years ago, and since then I've raised my own cats from kittens and and have been caring for lots of neighborhood pets. BONUS: I use Rover myself when I travel, so I've been on both sides and know it can be hard to be away from your pet. Therefore I will send lots of extremely cute pictures of your friend!!

My kitties and I just love Kristen! I scheduled drop in visits while I was out of the country and received the absolute greatest photos and updates! When I returned home everything was clean and my pets seemed so much less stressed than normal after my absence - it’s obvious they were well loved. I cannot recommend Kristen enough! We will absolutely be booking her for all future needs!
Kristen did a great job taking care of our dogs and our home. We received regular updates with cute pictures and our dogs were happy and healthy. We definitely hope to use Kristen's services again!
Kristen was fantastic. She watched both our house and our beloved puppy Blue. She sent us multiple pictures every day and Blue got lots and lots of exercise. The house was in better shape than when I left it. We will definitely use her again. I know Blue misses her already!
Kristen was really wonderful. She did great with Juno and house sitting for a few days. We met before hand, I got pictures and updates every day, and my house was in at least as good of shape as I left it. Juno was in very good spirits too!

I love taking very long neighborhood walks with your pup, and have a great dog park next to my house! Other specialties include excessive amounts of fetch and reassuring your pal that they are indeed, a very good dog. I also have a special knack for getting to know kitty's true personalities — whether it's sitting and snuggling for hours, playing hide and seek, or giving your little weirdo some food and some space, I LOVE THEM ALL.
