We LOVE Kristen, Nick and Elsie! They are so communicative and treat our girl like she is part of the family. Very grateful to have found them and try to book with them as often as we can when we are out of town!

We had an unpleasant experience with this couple and won't be engaging their services or recommending them. We were scheduled to travel internationally for a week and had taken the time to do a meet and greet as well as an exploratory visit with them. While Kristen provided glowing reviews of our dog her partner asked us to pick our dog up halfway through his stay leaving us scrambling in the midst of a workweek. They initially claimed it was because of an unexpected meeting. My husband races over to pick up our dog only to then be ambushed with claims of our dog's misbehaviour. We enquired why none of the updates or text messages had specified that and he realized he'd clearly miscommunicated with his partner and attempted to backtrack. The first thing we had discussed with them was how we only crate our dog during bedtime and not when we go out or are home. We had also asked them to care for our dog with the understanding that they work from home most days. Nicholas then piled onto my husband about how our dog didn't want to stay in his kennel while they worked from home. Ummm...why are you crating my dog when we explicitly discussed not doing so unless it's bedtime ? The man was also incredibly rude with my husband and it was clear Kristen and Nicholas weren't on the same page given the dissonance in their messaging. Unprofessional and unreliable. We were left scrambling 2 days before our international trip. After having spent so much time (close to 6 weeks) vetting and setting this up needless to say we wouldn't recommend this couple to anyone for their fur babies. Luckily this story has a happy ending, we were able to find another reliable caretaker and Rover stepped in to refund our loses and we've successfully lodged a complain against this couple. Would caution keeping away unless you want them to bail on you and ruin your trip.
