I've always had dogs - from big ol' mutts in backyards growing up, to mini schnauzers in NYC who prefer concrete to grass, thankyouverymuch. I'm the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and can never say no to giving a good ear scratch or playing a quick round of tug. Visiting LA and need someone to walk your pups? Have a dinner reservation, and want to make sure your dog gets some attention and a chance to work out their zoomies? I'm your gal! I also have extensive experience with rescue pups, elderly dogs with special needs (diabetes, restricted diet, surgical recovery), and dogs who may get anxious around other humans and animals.

Oh my goodness....what can I say....Kris, you are a dog whisperer! We are always so worried about leaving our 3 little chihuahuas with someone, as they are NOT thrilled with being left behind with a dog sitter. But yesterday, Kris came to our home and watched them for 5 hours. After just 30 minutes, we starting receiving a few pics of 3 very happy and content little dogs. Thank you Kris, you are truly amazing....and my husband and I so enjoyed our "date" day!!! :)
Kristen was phenomenal! She came thru on a very last minute booking and even worked with me when I needed to extend the booking. She took great care of Max and I will be utilizing her services in the future! Don’t hesitate to call this gem!
It is my pleasure to recommend Kristen Norvet to Rover. I've entrusted Kristen with my dog, Murphy, on many occasions. Kristen walked him often, was always reliable and it was obvious how happy and tired he was the days she had come! She also was our go-to if we had to leave town. I had used other sitters in the past, and it would always take a few days upon our return to get that "spark" back in Murphy (we assumed he was pouting). However, the first time Kristen stayed with him for a weekend, the change in his disposition upon our return was night and day. He was happy and had his spark the moment we returned! She is incredibly trustworthy, kind, caring and I can't speak highly enough of her. Knowing Murphy looks forward to seeing her and is happy when she's around is the highest praise anyone, in my book, can receive! Our pups love Kris so much! They get so excited every time they see her. You can tell she loves animals and we feel totally comfortable leaving her in charge of our fur babies whenever we leave town.

I take safety seriously - I will always walk your animals on-leash, and will never leave them unattended in your yard or otherwise. I never give out people food or treats/food that haven't been vetted by you - I believe you and your pet deserve my undivided attention!

Give me a heads-up about how well your dog responds to the leash, and whether we should make a point to avoid other animals while out and about. I trust you to know what's important to share with me about your dog. Otherwise, I try to stay attuned to their mood while we're exploring, and tend to notice discomfort early.
A typical day
I love exploring the city by foot, and will typically let your dog take the lead when we go on adventures around your neighborhood. Every smell tells a story, and I don't like to rush my charges while they're "reading!" Leisurely stroll? I adore stopping to smell the roses. Mad dash to the corner and back? A little cardio never hurt anybody.

I have my own gifting business curating one-of-a-kind box sets of pre-owned vinyl (where my record fiends at?!), which allows me the flexibility to give your good boy or girl the attention they need, when they need it. I also recently said farewell to my sweet, elderly boy, so have lots of love to spare!
