I find great joy in spending time with animals! I love getting to know their individual personalities. I am currently only offering drop-in care for cats and small animals. I will treat your beloved animal family member with the dignity and respect that it deserves. New clients: Please consider requesting bookings at least 3 days before desired date and time if we have never worked together before. I require meet and greets before booking new clients and these need to be done with ample time for you to be able to find a backup sitter if either of us decides that it’s not a good fit. I do not do last minute meet and greets and prefer to do meet and greets no later than 48 hours prior to our first booking together. Meet and Greets are crucial to ensuring the safety and well-being of all parties involved and the foundation of building a trusting long-term relationship! Repeat Clients: I offer last minute and emergency drop-ins. If you need help caring for your pet please call me through the Rover app and I will do my best to jump in and help! When I meet a new animal I treat them with respect for their personal boundaries and needs. I truly like to understand them and get to know their personality and boundaries. I have two dogs and a cat and grew up with hamsters, rats, gerbils, love birds and guinea pigs. I have ample experience with the small animal kingdom if you are looking for a sitter for your unique pet. The quality of life and well-being of my animals is of utmost importance to me and my daily life is pretty much centered around making sure their needs are met. I work hard in maintaining positive training and reinforcement with consistency. When needed, I am not afraid to consult with professionals when an issue arises that I need help learning how to address. When your animal is in my custody, I will afford it the same level of care and commitment that I do with my own. MEET AND GREETS: I require Meet and Greets at least 48 hours prior to our first booking together. Our meet and greet is not just for your animal, but for me and you. If I don’t feel like it is a good match or that I can provide the care your animal needs, I will let you know. Your animal’s needs are what is of utmost importance, if we meet and you don’t feel I am a good match, that is perfectly fine! Meet & Greets are always free of charge. CATS: I have quite the fiesty cat that doesn’t like many people. She has trained me well in how to properly care of cats who might hate a new human in their home. I am not afraid of being treated poorly by a cat and I strongly feel reading and negotiating around a cat’s personal boundaries is incredibly important in fostering a level of trust. When you schedule a drop-in visit for your cat, I would like to schedule a meet and greet so that your cat has had a chance to see who I am, I can learn where their food and supplies are and any special care instructions. During drop-ins, I can clean the litter box, refresh water bowls, food, and may be able to offer limited medication administration if needed. If your cat is social and decided it likes me, I can provide play, cuddle time and brushing. I look forward to getting to know your beloved four-legged family member!
