I have always had a passion caring for animals especially dogs, and have experience working as a dog walker/pet sitter. I have over 12 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and have grown up with them my whole life. I am very knowledgable when it comes to dog breeds and their temperaments. I am also very observant of a dogs behavior on their walk and will work with them on basic commands such as heal, sit, and stay. I can assist you with any obedience training you may have with your dog. I'm very friendly, caring, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, and can assure you I will spend quality time with your furr baby! I believe communication is important and will always leave you with a detailed report with pictures of how your dog did on their walk or stay. Kristen is a affectionate, trustworthy, and professional dog walker and sitter. She has been “checking in” and “walking” our dog since he was 3 months old. He is always excited to see her, and she makes us feel very comfortable with detailed updates and real time feedback of when she arrives and leaves. She also took the time to get to know our dog and what he liked from laying in the grass, to treats in his crate. We love Kristen!!

If caring for a dog in my home (condo) I’ll make sure they have all their belongings with them (bed, toys, food, water bowl, treats, crate if necessary) to make sure they feel comfortable. I live in a safe condo complex that’s dog friendly and has a great grassy walking path.

Before pet sitting your dog, I would like to set up a meet and greet! I would like to know about the dogs temperament and if there are any behavioral issues/concerns that I should be aware of. I would like to know basic demographics about the dog such as how old the dog is and how he does on walks. Also, if the dog has any allergies/medication that needs to be administered on a regular basis. I can also help with household needs such as watering plants or collecting mail while you're gone.
A typical day
I enjoy being active with dogs and taking them to the park, beach, Fiesta Island, or just playing fetch with them in a grassy area. I have a reliable car (SUV) that can easily transport dogs from one location to the next if you would like me to take your dog to the dog park or beach for a fun outing!

My schedule is very flexible right now and I’m only working part time a few days a week. I can provide as many dog walks/potty breaks as needed throughout the day.
