I have been professionally (and lovingly) boarding dogs in my home for >15 years, but am just new to Rover. I have no other pets for you to worry about, and also do drop-in visits. My priority is for you to feel as comfortable as possible about leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and for your pet to live their best (away-from-you) life—which is easy as it comes natural to me. Dog or cat, big or small, indoor or outdoor, easy-peasy or high-maintenance, you can rely on me to not only meet your pet’s every need and ensure they feel safe, but to delight in doing so. About me: I’m a Senior Editorial Manager and 2009 Dartmouth College graduate who works from home full-time. Anyone can be an animal lover, but not everyone has a passion for actually taking care of them. For me, it's in my DNA. When I was 5, I could be seen playing board games with my dog Jay (It is possible; I used his paw to spin the spinner). When I was 7, I embarked on my own dog-walking and dog-sitting business. At age 8 when we got a new dog, I got a book on how to train her and actually followed through successfully. I also willingly attended supplemental training classes for her every week. Despite having behavioral issues from a former abusive owner, she always trusted and obeyed me. I was always the one called on to administer meds, coax her out of her favorite hiding spots, or groom her when no one else could. I've also had multiple cats all my life, including a deaf and diabetic cat requiring insulin twice a day, and a Maine Coon cat with chronic anxiety-induced UTI’s.
