I like to know a bit about the pet's personality prior to a visit or walk. Any information about their behavior that's relevant to care offered during the visit or to the walk helps me prepare to interact with the pet in a way that is most comfortable for them. Additionally, it is important I am aware of any specific kind of care that should be provided during a visit or walk. I want to make sure pets needs are 100% met during the service!

Standard forms of care I provide during drop-in visits include feeding, providing fresh water, checking for any messes in the area the pet stays and cleaning if needed, taking dogs outside for a potty break or cleaning cat litter. I am happy to play with pets with their favorite toys to help them let out their energy and socialize. I love giving pets attention and affection, so they can look forward to lots of pets and cuddles if that's what they like! Regarding walks, I communicate with owners about what routes are normally taken, how long of a walk is standard, what are signs that the dog needs a break, etc. This information helps me ensure the walk is a positive experience for the pup and that I can be attentive to the dog's needs throughout the walk. I make sure the dog has fresh water upon returning to the home.
