*Please be aware that I do have a cat in the home and pups must be either cat friendly or have a low prey drive* Growing up on a farm has given me a lot of experience taking care of and learning about animals and their needs, I love playing and connecting with dogs especially because their personalities are so funny. My main focus is to provide a comfy and safe space for your furry friends while you’re away at work or away on a trip. I’m able to entertain high energy puppies to the chillest seniors who just want to nap with me.

Kristen came to the rescue by being available short notice while I was visiting town! I'd never had a stranger watch my dog in the 8 years I've owned him and with his seperation anxiety and dog aggression I was anxious as hell but meeting Kristen put my mind at ease and her place was perfect. 10/10 recommend Thanks again!

Kristen looked after Michael for 12 days whilst we were on vacation and was great! Michael is a really nervous rescue and we were apprehensive to leave him with someone however Kristen has been amazing! She took the time and effort to get to know Michael and his specific needs and he warmed to her so quickly which is so rare for him. She also took the time to help him learn some new tricks and get rid of bad puppy habits. We feel so relieved to have found an amazing sitter for our pup and will definitely be using her again!

I live in the basement of a house and have a small side fenced patio area for quick outside bathroom breaks, however the house backs onto a massive field that pups can gallop through for days. I’ve spent hours tossing balls and frisbees through the grass for countless pups. I do have my cat in the home and any animals coming in need to be crate trained and have a low prey drive. I am able to separate animals with doors however it’s safer for everyone involved that we follow these rules. Please reach out with any questions or concerns and I’ll be happy to answer them!

I always like to know anything special about your dog! Toys, smells, quirks- anything that they love to do so I can accommodate and keep them happy and make me feel familiar. It’s important for me to know any commands your dog knows as well, favourite treats, any allergies or if I’m going to get a surprise yank into the water (please give me a heads up).
A typical day
My home backs onto a large field which has a lot of frequent dog friends that I like to introduce my little visitors to. There are a few hidden gems around the neighbourhood as well that are nice mentally stimulating spots for the pups, lots to sniff and listen to. I like to make sure the pups get everything they can out of their walks because they should come home and have a nap and have sweet puppy dreams about the next big adventure!
