Pet care experience
Dogs, cats, birds, and rodents have all been in my life consistently since childhood. I love taking care of animals and don't shy away from special or unique needs. Our family is so excited to have more animals in our life in addition to our rescue pups, Chewie and Wicket, and other extended family pets.

Kristen and Family were awesome. They made our puppy feel at home right from the time we dropped Hansi to them. For all seven days we received consistently pictures and videos of our puppy. We would definitely use their services again. Thanks you for looking after Hansi so well.
Kristen has a lovely family home with a great fenced yard. The yard allows plenty of space to roam free while staying safe. The house would accomdate both dogs and cats with space to spend lounging and playing. Kristen is very attentive to animals and very loving. I can always count on her to watch my 2 pitties and to keep them safe and sound!

I have a fenced yard, two friendly and fluffy 18 lb dogs, and 2 children who are very respectful of dogs and boundaries. There is plenty of room in our home to accommodate a pet that might prefer it's own space and we will have crates available if necessary to use during the day or night. Walks will happen as a group or individually, depending on the needs of the pet, and the same goes for outdoor time! Dogs can also be easily separated for feeding time if necessary.

Please tell me about any unique needs or behaviors your pet has ahead of time so we can make their stay as fun and comfortable as possible. We have young kids and a small dog in our home; as long as your pet will be happy in these conditions, they will be happy with us! Please note that we are happy to accept large dogs in our home, however there are a few behaviors we don't feel are a good mix with large dogs, small children, and a busy household: jumping on people, counter surfing, and resource guarding. If your large dog exhibits these behaviors, we ask that you please look for another boarder or sitter.
A typical day
With our dogs, Chewie and Wicket, your pet will always have a playmate in our home! We typically will take a walk in the morning after the kids go to school and have extended outside time in the evening. Ball, fetch, and tug are all fun games we like to play throughout the day, too. Often, the dogs will take a naps whenever I work on the computer. Dogs may have brief crate time during the day when I run errands (~30 minutes) and sleep in a comfy covered crate with blankets at night.

I work from home in addition to my human and pet mom duties. My dogs, Chewie and Wicket, get lots of care and attention including walks and outside time in our fenced yard. Taking care of your beloved pet will fit perfectly into my routine and we'll benefit from more animal cuddles (or just a cute visitor if your pet isn't into PDA!).
