Hi! I want to be your pet's nanny! I am a college graduate, a mother of 2 and a long time pet owner. I cultivated a love of animals from a young age growing up in pet loving family. As an adult, I have raised a big white tom cat, who lived 18 years, a yellow labrador retriever, who died of cancer at the young age of 8 and currently have a 3 year old black lab and a 1 year old calico kitty. I have loved and lost animals over the years and understand that they are more than just animals. They are family. Over the course of caring for my pets as well as family, friends' and neighbors' pets. I've learned so much. I've trained both my dogs. I have attempted to train my cats, however, I think they have done a better job training me! I know how to administer oral medications to both cats and dogs. I haven't tried with a hamster. Not sure how that would go. I've learned how to clean an abscess and most of all, love and care for their basic needs. I have experience with dogs, cats and hamsters! I have cared for animals with special medical needs as well as aging pets. My goal is provide a loving, nurturing and trustworthy environment for your furry friends whether it be for an hour or two during the day, some healthy activity or while you're gone for an extended period of time. Services: First consultation is free this takes usually 30 minutes Overnight Services: $60 a night at your home Walks and visits are $20 for 30 minutes or $30 for 60 minutes Cat Sitting: $20 for a 30 minute daily visit for feeding, litter box clean up and lots of time for love and attention. Daily puppy visits are $20 Pet supply pickup (treats, pet food, cat litter) $20 Pet veterinary appointments $30/hour I hope one day, I will have the opportunity to care for your pets and help make your absence just a little easier for them. Kristen was a pleasure to meet and deal with. Our two small dogs warmed up to her immediately at the "meet & greet". Kristen kept in contact with us daily through messages & photos. We will definitely contact Kristen in the future to help with dog sitting needs. Excellent job!

We have had Kristen care for our animals on numerous occasions and have been pleased with her dedication and love for our animals every time. The first time was with our then 4 month old puppy (now 8 1/2 years old) we were called out of town unexpectedly and Kristen took such good care of our new baby - sending us pictures and daily updates and she even managed to teach our stubborn little corgi some basic puppy manners such as sitting and waiting to eat. Most recently we have procured her services to hamster-sit my son's beloved hamster. She came by at least once a day to clean his cage and give him some socialization (he loves people). She also has taken care of our indoor kitties and even though they are extremely skittery around any non-family members, she still would send us pictures and would talk to them from the floor where they were hiding under the bed.

I like to understand any unique habits that the animal my have and how their owners manage these habits or behaviors. I have them fill out a veternary medical care release in case of an emercency as well as any pertinant information about the house.

My Philosophy: In caring for your pets, I want to provide a loving supportive envirnment that helps ease the stress and feelings of abondonment while your away. To give people a sense of security, knowing that their animals are well care for and watched over in case of an emergency. I believe in positive reinforcement to get the desired behavior from the pet and will go out of my way to make a connection that will provide a sense of security.
