After having a dog of my own for 12 years raising him from a puppy to a senior, I was enlightened on just how much a dog can change your life for the better. I have since lost that dog which was a heart breaking experience, and has left a void that this job can fill for me. Getting to take care of a dog again brings me a sense of happiness that can not be fulfilled any other way. Everything from feeding and playing to providing medication and grooming is something I enjoy. Just know that I am getting more from the experience of taking care of your dog than just the short period of time I spend with them. Getting this opportunity to provide what your pet needs will give me more insight into my career in the field of biology.
