I have ALWAYS been a dog (and pet) lover...before I had a dog of my own at 8 years old, I would walk to all the neighbors houses and walk and play with their dogs for hours. My friends (and friends of friends) have grown to count on me to watch their pets when they're away...and know that their dog will usually come home with a new trick! During my last two years of medical school, I started to really miss my animals that were back home with my family in CT and thus started to foster kittens, before eventually setting up an account with Rover. I eventually fostered again during COVID, and ended up with my 3 kittens I just couldn’t bear to give back (all from the same litter)! Luckily, my fiancé is just as much an animal lover as I am.
