My husband, Patrick, myself, and our Golden Retriever pup, Teddy, would love to welcome your furry friend while you are away! We live in a pet-friendly apartment in Old Town Alexandria, and a typical day consists of some indoor playtime as well as several walks outside throughout the day. On the weekends, we enjoy spending most of our day with the pups whether that might be taking them on a walk along King Street, visiting the parks along the Potomac, or heading over to the dog park. We will care for your pup like a member of our family, because that's what they are, family. My husband and I work together to make sure your pup is happy, safe, and healthy. When I go into the office during the day, my husband works from home full time, that way, we are able to devote the time and energy that your dog needs and wants. Patrick has periodic phone calls throughout the day so any pickup and drop offs will be arranged around his meeting schedule (and of course we will accommodate what works best for you). If you do choose to allow us to watch your pup, I will be communicating with you and sending pictures, and Patrick will most likely be there for drop off and pick up times. Due to his meeting schedule, we just ask that you are able to arrange a pick up and drop off time in advance, that way, we are able to anticipate when he will need to step away from his desk. We also ask that any pups we watch are not regular barkers or whiners. Patrick spends most of his day on the phone and on webinars and unfortunately any background noises from pups would be hard to mask. After the work day has ended, we love to take a walk around Old Town with the pups to wind down and get them some exercise. We're truly passionate about dogs, and their happiness is our happiness (and they're just about always happy which is what makes them so cool). We would absolutely love the opportunity to get to know your furry member of the family and care for them with as much heart as you would will you are away!
