I’m Kristen and I love dogs! I’ve had both mutts and purebred dogs, big and small, young and old. I got my first dog as an adult by volunteering at a local animal shelter. I fell in love with the sweetest pup and was so happy to bring my first dog to a safe and loving home. I work mainly from home, so there's almost always someone around. Walks, potty breaks, and playtime in our backyard are plentiful. Your pup will also love that our dog, Baci is around for playtime and cuddles. Baci and I hit the neighborhood and Rock Creek Park each morning for a walk and your dog will be welcome to join! My previous and current dog families love that I work from home and that our house is 100% dog friendly. Our pets are a part of our family, so no place is off limits (including the bed). Each dog we look after becomes part of our family so I make sure to become a trustworthy, communicative, and flexible friend to you and your family! When your pup is under my care, I’ll make sure that you (and your pooch) feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. For owners, I’ll always keep lines of communication open at all times in case we need to get in touch for any reason. Additionally, I’ll always send daily updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! We live in a beautiful home in Chevy Chase. It’s a wonderful neighborhood with walkable sidewalks and small streets. Our house is a few minute walk from a dog park and trails, which is perfect for our furry visitors. I live with my husband and two children, who adore pups! My husband has had dogs his entire life, as have our children. We’ve cared for puppies as well as senior dogs with significant medical needs. Inside, we have large, open living spaces where your dog can find toys, treats, and special spots to nap or relax. We also have a fenced-in yard with a deck, patio, and lots of grass. Your pup will have a safe and fun place to exercise, relax, and enjoy the fresh air! When I’m not pet sitting, I love to stay active. Hikes and pilates are two of my favorite ways to exercise, but I would be happy to walk or play with your pup in any way they’d like!
