*Disclaimer: The pets you see pictured on my profile currently live with my parents, not in my apartment!* I’ve had family dogs since I was born, and when I was old enough, I began gaining experience in feeding, walking, bathing, giving medication to, and caring for them. I also dogsat and babysat for my neighbors, and I now teach children acting and singing. I love dogs for the same reason I love children; they are so free-spirited, pure, and good. It is my goal to encourage affection and positive interaction whenever I care for any animal. My family has raised puppies into old age many a time, so I have experience with all ages, temperaments, and sizes of dog. I am extremely meticulous about any care instructions you may have, and their safety and happiness always comes first! Kristen is such a warm and loving person. She has taken care of our two little doggies for us recently and we couldn't be more pleased. We have found her to be trustworthy, caring and dependable. For services which take place at my residence: My apartment is large, with a lot of space to roam around. Your pet is welcome to lay on the sofa with us (myself and my boyfriend, an animal lover/magnet who I live with but is often at school) or make themselves comfortable elsewhere. The complex has a huge dog park as well as a fenced in area separate from the park if they do not get along well with other dogs. I am more than happy to place some of your pet’s things around my apartment, such as toys, a bed, etc. If you have other requests, always check with me—I’m pretty flexible! For services in a client’s home/out & about: I easily connect with any animal, and I love to play or lay with pups especially. Again, special attention will be paid to any care instructions involving care items/safety in your home (i.e. medication, toys, crates, locking doors, etc.) whenever I visit, and your pet is in the most loving hands with me!

A typical day
I love taking dogs to our apartment complex dog park or on a walk to my favorite spot, the greens of Rollins College! Lots of people and other dogs are always present in these areas for plenty of interaction, but if your dog is a little antisocial/unfriendly with other animals (as one of my own family dogs has been throughout his life), I know special routes where they can walk safely and unbothered, just me and them. Either way, I love to either play fetch then cool down with a portable bowl of water or plop down on the greenery and soak up some beautiful weather with my pets. After activity, heading back to my spacious apartment to catch some z’s on the couch is always a good time. I love to curl up and read a good book or watch a new movie on our couch, and your pup is always welcome to join! Treats and plenty of belly rubs will be administered. If you have any special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask! :)
