Pet care experience
I am a 28-year old teacher who loves to help kids and pets grow! In my experience, I’ve had two cats when I was 8-20 years old. More recently, I’ve helped care for my sisters dog for the last 5 years, as well as a pup of my own for 2 years. I walk, feed, and play with them daily! I rescued my dog, so I have researched and worked diligently to train her even though she can be reactive at times from her past experiences. Therefore, if your puppy is friendly or reactive like mine, I can assist in crate and basic training as well. I believe that all pets deserve a happy, healthy, and positive environment, and I’d love to assist in that lifestyle for your pet!

Kristen has been so patient with our anxious dog. She has gone above and beyond helping our nervous pup acclimate to a new person. Our dog does not warm up easily and can even snap with new people. But Kristen’s calm demeanor has made our dog feel comfortable immediately. Amazing! She’s truly a live saver and we plan to continue using her regularly!
Kristen has cared for my dog many times in the past 5 years and continues to pet sit while i’m in need of someone to watch my fur baby. She is very responsible and cares for/loves my dog as if she was her own. She herself also has a dog she cares for deeply and when she was a puppy trained diligently. I can’t stress how much time and effort I’ve seen Kristen dedicate to training and caring for her dog. She has shown her love and devotion towards all animals. I have a fully fenced backyard where my dogs are able to run around and play at least 3 times per day. They are also crate trained and follow basic commands such as “come” “sit” “lay” etc. I feed them twice a day with a mixture of wet and dry food. We go on a walk every day, weather permitting.

A typical day
I have a plethora of dog toys for chewing, tugging, and fetching! It is so important that your dogs get exercise, especially if they are high-energy. I play with my dogs in our fenced backyard at least twice a day; they love tug-of-war! My neighborhood is perfect for walks, and there’s a park with a pond nearby too. I’ve also taken my dogs to a local dog park in order to have them interact with other pups! However, based on your preferences, I’m willing to take them around your neighborhood or parks that your dog feels most comfortable in.

Because I’m an educator, my schedule is very flexible during the summer. I’m open to helping a lot of clients during this time. During the other seasons, I will work Monday-Friday in the evening hours, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
