Pet care experience
As a long time pet owner and animal shelter volunteer, I've spent a lot of time learning how to work with dogs and other animals of all sizes and personalities. I believe that the best way to shape dog behavior is through positive reinforcement, understanding, and patience. I try to apply this philosophy to pet sitting and walking through attention to detail and setting each dog (or any animal) up for success. I adopted my best dog friend during the summer of 2012, and I don't think I've ever made a better life decision. She is my world, so I understand how important it is for dog parents to know their dog is doing well while they're away or at work! This means frequent updates and photos to help keep you at ease.

I do have to say I have one major issue with Kristen following her last visit with us... *PLOT TWIST* It's that Kristen is SO amazingly wonderful that I am afraid no one else will ever come close for me and Traeger! Kristen is no longer able to sit for us due to geography and we are so, so appreciative for the time we got to have her. She was kind, patient, attentive, timely, detailed, flexible, and communicative. Without fail, her daily updates were thorough and positive while still being constructive for my future. She asked all the right questions and I never for a second doubted that my home or young puppy were in great hands. She is more than I could have ever hoped for in a dog sitter and anyone who has the chance to work with Kristen in the future would be crazy to pass her up. She is one of a kind!
Kristen gives very detailed reports on her walks and I know that my pup is in good hands when he’s with her.
Kristen is absolutely wonderful! We just completed our second week with her and her standard of care is still outstanding. She sends thorough, helpful updates on how my puppy is doing and works with him on things I am training. I have such a level of comfort leaving Traeger in the care of Kristen when I'm at work!

I would love to know your dog's daily schedule, their likes and dislikes, what tricks or training regimens they're working on, how they work with other dogs, if they're nervous around strangers, etc... anything that you feel is important for me to know to give the best care I can!
A typical day
We'll go on walks around the neighborhood or wherever else you'd like us to venture. I'm always willing to practice tricks and positive reinforcement training as well as engage in indoor play and cuddles to get some energy out.

I work from home as a freelance artist and an online seller, so my schedule can be flexible depending on your dog's needs. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your animal family member(s)!
