I have owned dogs and all sorts of pets my entire life. I currently have 2 dogs: a 6 year old rescue mutt and a 7 month old English bulldog puppy. I also own a very spoiled pot bellied pig who lives in the house with his own bedroom. In addition, I have over 20 chickens, bearded dragons and a rabbit. I don’t have children, so these guys are the closest thing I have and love them just as much. Professionally, I have 7+ years experience in equine management, caring for 30+ horses, feeding, mucking, administering supplements and medication, turning in and turning out. I have 2+ years experience in working with a CT breeder for the dog breed Lagotto Romagnolos, caring for both breeding dogs and the puppies. This included vet checks and appointments, administering medications, general care and most importantly love. I have taken both equine and kennel management classes. I am willing to care for a variety of animals including, but not limited to, dogs of all ages/sizes/breeds, cats, small animals, chickens, reptiles, horses and pigs. I have trained my own dogs, so not only will I care for them, I can also reinforce good behavior and walk them politely with manners. I have experience in pet sitting (outside of rover) dogs of all breeds and ages, cats and kittens, small animals as well as farm animals. I have previously spent nights and weekends house sitting providing around-the-clock care and late night check-ins.
