My husband and I have had dogs in our lives since childhood. Dogs have always been a big part of my life and have always been a member of my family! I’m a social worker for my day-job and set my own schedule so my days are very flexible! When not out on appointments I’m working from home with my animals! My husband is also home every evening and on weekends. I previously fostered dogs through a local dog rescue and I loved it! It was an amazing experience. My husband and I now have 3 of our own, and they are all spoiled rotten, which they should be :) Our home and yard are set up to be as dog/cat friendly as they could possibly be. Very often we find ourselves spending evenings with the TV off as we just “enjoy the show” that’s going on in our home! Our pets are our fur-babies as we don’t have any children yet. You can expect your dog to be treated the same as mine while in our home! To be given love, attention, and the best care. We will also honor and respect the rules you have in your home for your dog while they are in our home as well. ***Dog Preferences*** We have been doing Rover for a while now and have determined the type of pups that mesh the best with our animals. We will accept dogs up to 25lbs, or over 25lbs if they are a shorter breed. Puppies also do extremely well in our home! We have a very high energy household that we love, but also acknowledge that it isn’t the best environment for dogs 10 and older. My husband and I realize that this will limit the pups we would be able to have the pleasure of hosting, but we want all animals to be comfortable and have a fun time!
