I have owned a boxer with bounds of energy and some reactivity for 7 years now, I walk and feed many neighbourhood dogs also from time to time, as needed. I feel well prepared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I have worked hard over the last year to modify my dogs reactive behaviour and ease him out of his stressful habits. During the process, I have learned a great deal about clear communication, available training tools, reading a dogs body language and how to be a confident leader they can trust to be in control.

This was my first time having Kristen dog sit . What a very nice person to deal with. The dogs loved her She is very capable with handling 2 very large dogs, My one dog just had TPLO surgery on his knee and Kristen knew exactly how to handle him. I will be reaching out to her again
I booked with Kristen to walk my dog Jett on short notice due to a personal situation, she responded quickly and was willing to help out as soon as she could. Jett took to her immediately, and it was very evident that she has such a wonderful nature with dogs and genuinely cares. She proved to be very dependable and reliable, and provided a wonderful walking experience for Jett. Jett returned happy and tired out. Jett can sometimes be very reactive when running into other dogs while on walks, yet with Kristen's experience I had every confidence that she knew how to manage this, which really put me at ease. I just loved the pictures and "report cards Kristen provided as a follow up to her walks, that was such a lovely bonus. I would never hesitate to book with Kristen again. She seemed very caring and I knew Jett was in good hands.
We have had the pleasure of having Kristen care for our dog Atlas for many years while we have been away on vacation. He became best buddy with Gunner, the house dog. Atlas would always be so happy to spend time time at Kristen’s house and it was so nice for us to have peace of mind while away. I highly recommend Kristen as a dog sitter/walker. Her genuine love for animals is evident, and Atlas always comes back happy and well-cared for. She is reliable, responsible, and a true pet enthusiast! The location of their house is also great with lots of space to run and have fun. It always felt like Atlas was also going on a little getaway retreat in the country.
Kristen frequently cares for our 2 huskies when we need walks or someone to feed them. She is conscientious, caring and spends ample time learning about what is best for dogs. We are neighbours and I trust her implicitly with our girls and our home. She has spent time learning what guidelines are best for dogs and how to work in a leadership role with dogs. She would be a great person to care for your dog(s).

I truly enjoy connecting with animals and love watching them enjoy the simple joys that surround them. I will treat your four legged family member, as if they were my own. My priority is providing a fun, loving and safe environment for your furry friends that provides you with peace of mind. I am happy to keep up on any training, routines and medication needed. I am also well versed in raw diet. Let me know your pets favourite treats, activities, toys, and ways they like to be shown love. Also, let me know if there is anything specific you do not want them allowed to do or definite dislikes you know of. I am willing to accommodate whatever makes them happiest, healthy and stress free.

I am a seasonal worker and am home all day, with an open schedule for half of the year. As a lover of all animals I could not think of a better way to spend my free time than enjoying the company of your four legged family members.
