Pet care experience
My name is Kristen, and I am attending Eckerd College as an animal studies major. I began working with animals at an animal shelter in my hometown, taking care of both dogs and cats. In addition to playing and feeding the animals, I cleaned their cages so I am no stranger to a mess. I have also cared for my friend's animals over the years. From there, I became a husbandry intern and a sea turtle rehabilitation intern. I am accountable, hardworking, and optimistic. Above all, I truly have a passion for animals!

I know Kristen to be a loving and playful pet owner. She takes her own dog Shanna on long walks, plays with her in the back yard, gives her baths, and loves spending time with her. Kristen is conscientious and responsible, following through on tasks and directions. Kristen is respectful and will care for any animal as if they were her own! I have no hesitation with Kristen coming to my home and looking after my fur babies.

For my dog back home, she needs multiple walks a dog (in addition to running around in the backyard), enrichment, positive playing, and plenty of cuddles.

A typical day
Florida has a lot of beautiful trails to explore that are amazing for long walks. There are also cool dog parks (for dogs that do well in this environment) or fenced-in areas that can be rented out.

This summer I am doing an internship. For my schedule, I will be available after 5:30 on weekdays, and I will be free all day on weekends!
