Is your dog a gentle soul? A big snuggle bunny? A stop to smell the roses, belly up in the sunshine, long naps and long walks kind of pup? Does he need a little extra patience or gentleness or TLC? Is she happier on a couch cushion than in a dog park? Then you've hit on the right house for your best friend! We are a laid back family with an extra sweet hound who gets along well with other dogs but prefers parallel playing to rough and tumble. I'll happily walk your pup through miles of our quiet, shady neighborhood and stop to sniff every tree along the way, or play fetch and dig in our yard all afternoon. We live in a large, quiet, air conditioned home with plenty of toys to chew on and lots of soft furniture for napping. I love all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, but jumpy or overly rambunctious dogs are a little much for our own shy pup, and we would prefer to take dogs who are well versed in commands such as Down! I am happy to take both crate trained and 'free-roaming' dogs, as long as they can handle being on their own during the day when I am at work. In order for me to give your BFF the best care possible, I want to make sure we have a chance to meet and discuss your dog's routine, training, and personality. Your dog should leave a stay with me feeling content, relaxed, and totally, completely loved. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!!!
