My name is Kristen and I'm 26 years old. I grew up with a golden retriever named Alex and have wanted to own a dog for years, but unfortunately don't have the means to do so just yet. I would love to walk dogs on Rover to get more dogs outside exercising and to spend more time with my favorite animal! I currently have a lot of dog-owning friends that let me play with and watch their pups. I am open to all types of dogs; old or young, big or small, shy or excited. I think it's very important for dogs to get out and play and go on long walks. It's important for their long-term health and it's good for their moods. I've known Kristen for over 10 years and she is one of the most responsible, caring, and personable people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She watches my 8 year old dog (who has special needs) when I go out of town and she always does such an amazing job with taking him on walks, grooming him, getting him his medications on time, etc. He loves seeing her and gets so excited every time she's around. She's been an amazing dog caregiver to my pup and I hope that others get the opportunity to experience her as well.
