Pet care experience
I have been around dogs all my life and have had experience with all kinds of dogs from rottweiler's to chihuahua's and puppies to seniors. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years now, and have had experience as a volunteer dog walker at animal shelters. I am very patient and gentle, and a firm believer in positive reinforcement and force free training. I love all breeds of dogs, and know like people it's the inside that counts not how they look. Right now I am only offering dog walking and check in visits since I work full time and have pets or my own.

In the 11 years I've known Kristelle, she's always been the BIGGEST animal lover. Our group of friends have often joked that she's an animal whisperer, because pretty much every creature she meets loves her immediately. For good reason--she's very knowledgeable when it comes to pet care, very friendly and nurturing, and a very reliable hard worker!

With my dog we like to go to the small dog park at our complex and do nature walks on my days off. On work days we like to cuddle on the couch and watch shows or movies especially on cold days.

I would like to know if they have any medical or special needs. What their temperament and energy level is like and if they have a prey drive or reactivity. Especially if we will go on walks together.
A typical day
I find puzzle and enrichment toys a great way to entertain pets and keep them engaged. I also try to teach them trick like shake or roll over, and happy to help work on any training techniques a pet parent is currently working on orthopedic their dog. I like to keep dogs in an area they know for walks. Once I know your dog better and with approval form their parents I might like to take them on a field trip out to the trails around Alton baker park.
