Pet care experience
I started petsitting when I was sixteen. I have done extended stays up to 4 months or just pop in potty breaks. I worked at a veterinary hospital for 5 years as a vets assistant and am comfortable caring for anything from puppies to elderly and pets that need medication. Making sure pets get to stay where they are comfortable and loved in a stress free environment when family is away is what I take pride in providing.

Krista was a delight to work with! Friendly, helpful, communicative, and VERY caring of our dog Nell. Krista asked great questions to ensure she knew Nell's habits and needs. Through her daily updates, it was clear that Krista treated Nell as part of her own family and worked to make her comfortable during her stay. Honestly, we couldn't have hoped for anything more from a sitter and whenever we need a sitter again, we will be happy to use Krista.
Krista was amazing! She updated me every day with pics, and took great care of our girl. I felt like I left her with family. They went for walks and did some hiking too. I will definitely use her again.
We used to leave Rigby with the same pet sitter for many years, upon their closing we had yet to find a reliable pet sitter other than family and friends. We saw Krista's reviews and decided to try it out for a weekend. I am so glad we did, Krista cared for Rigby in her home just how we were used to! I will definitely be using her services in the future!

We (my significant other Joe and I) have a fenced in yard but pets are never left unattended outdoors. Our Senior Labradors recently passed away at 15 so we have comfy dog beds and elevated dog dishes and lots of love and attention to give your pup.

Its important for me to know any quirks, behavioral or medical needs of any pet I watch. I also like to know their typical routines so I can keep life as normal as possible for them while their people are away.
A typical day
I like to take dogs that I watch for walks/hikes depending on their needs and abilities Day & Beech Mtns are my favorites for hikes and Blue Horizon or Lower Hadlock Pond are my favorite places for walks and I also love to take pups for a swim and often on field trips to places like Bark Harbor.
