Pet care experience
I had a family dog growing up and also cared for several of the neighbors dogs as well. My sister got a puppy a few years ago and I spent the summer caring for him and still take him so she can have “vacations” from him. I have also had a horse since I was 8 years old and have a ton of experience taking care of other horses as well. Also, my roommate has an 11 month old Golden Retriever that loves to play with other dogs!

Krista has watched my dog, Poppy twice now and she’s done an incredible job of communicating and taking care of her when I’m away. Poppy is excited to see her and I know she’s going to have a safe and fun stay!
Krista did a wonderful job watching Poppy, my dog! She sent daily updates with pictures and super communicative about picking up and dropping her off. I know Poppy will love staying with her in the future! Thank you, Krista!
Krista was friendly and professional and very easy to get in touch with. Most importantly, she took great care of our pup in our home while we were out of state for a long weekend. It was such a relief to know our pup was in great hands and safe and happy at home when we were gone.

I have a fenced in yard and plenty of neighborhood to go for walks! The house also has plenty of room for all sizes of dogs as well as crates, beds, etc. I try not to leave for super long periods of time and always have an eye out for the pets I watch :)

Since we have a dog in the house I mostly just need to know how your dog is with others! Getting the run down on energy levels is always helpful too :) pet parents know their animals the best, so I’m always open for info!
A typical day
I love walking around Germantown with the pets I have, whether that means going to Bicentennial Park or stopping at a coffee shop for a pup cup! I also have a good sized yard for playing and love to sit outside on our balcony. Any time I go somewhere and can bring a dog with me, I like to as long as the dog (and owner) is comfortable with it!

Availability
I have a full time M-F job during the days, but a lot of free time at night and on weekends. I also have a roommate who works from home and would be around during the day if need be. She is also a huge animal lover.
