Pet care experience
My passion and first love has always been caring for animals. I grew up in a household with a variety of pets-dogs, cats, a parrot, gerbils, snake, lizards-you name it! I raised my own Yorkie puppy while still in high school. As a nurse, I am both compassionate and responsible. Should your fur baby require medication, I have experience with that too. Our oldest dog requires insulin injections, eye drops, and oral medication so I am comfortable administering whatever your baby needs!

Your fur baby will have full range of the main level of our home, including my pet-friendly office space. We have a very large yard on a corner lot that is not fenced, however I do have a yard stake with a leash that can be used, or I am happy to walk your pet on a leash when taking them out. They will never be left unattended in the yard. At night, your furry friend is welcome to sleep upstairs in our master bedroom, or if they do better in their own crate, we can accomodate that as well. My husband Matt, and I have 2 dogs and 3 cats of our own. Our oldest is Mya, a siberian husky who is a very laid back girl. For any younger dogs who need a play companion, our lab-mix named Auggie will be your pet's new bff. I also have 3 kids, ages 1-13, who will be in our home and love to help out and give free snuggles too!

I'd love to know if your pet has boarded away from home before and any concerns you may have had. How are they with kids and other pets? Are they laid back or do they have a more set routine that you'd like them to follow? Any special needs or ways I can make this experience the most comfortable for your pet!
A typical day
We have a large yard to run in and play ball, plus plenty of walking trails close by. We try to go on a walk every evening around the neighborhood when weather permits! Most weekends we are outside playing ball, fetch, or running in the sprinkler.

I currently work from home full time, so I am available to spend the whole day at home with your pet, only leaving home briefly on occasion. I am flexible and willing to accommodate your schedule!
