Right now I am available at most times. I am doing this job for the flexibility of working afternoons and evenings, so overnight and late-in-the-day stops are no concern, nor is anything after 11 AM. My family has always had a cat and two dogs at least, and over the time I've gotten to have three cats and five dogs. I've loved each of those animals because I really enjoy being with animals. I've typically had the experience that strangers' pets respond well to me and like me in initial meetings, and are comfortable around me. I have some knowledge of animal body language and nonverbals that helps facilitate that. I like animals of all sizes because they're all fun to be around in their own unique way, from the small dogs that tend to be easy to walk and can be cuddled on the lap to the large dogs that are generally mellow and easy-going. I've cared for pets from puppies to my twenty-one year old Siamese cat and eleven year-old pitbull mutt. I also have a degree in social work, so being thoroughly responsible, attentive to detail, and if wanted doing documentation while in someone else's home is all second-nature to me.
