I've owned only smaller dogs (Yorkie and Maltese), but I'm been around many other dogs of all sizes on a regular basis. I try to avoid "huge" dogs as I would be concerned that they would overtake me if wanting to get away on a walk or chase something; and I can't think of anything worse than allowing harm to come to someone's dogs when in my care. I would expect them to be potty-trained, healthy, and up-to-date on their shots. No biters!

I will walk your dog(s)--ONLY on a leash, preferable a harness--anywhere that is safe for both me and your dog. I would prefer a path given me by the owner and one that the dog is familiar with--with plenty of potty stops and "curiosity stops." I don't stop so dogs can play with other dogs (since I don't know those dogs), but with owner permission, I will allow adults to pet and talk to the dog to encourage sociability. I also love to play ball, play fetch, and do other dog-activities that are a normal part of your dog's routine. If I do stay overnight, your dog is welcome to sleep with me, provided he's used to it. I also love to reward dogs, not only with treats, but also with enthusiastic praise.
