I am a former dog trainer with Petsmart. I have over 500 volunteer hours with Southwest Washington Humane Society as a dog walker and Adoption Ambassador in Vancouver, WA. We recently moved to Eagle Crest in Redmond, OR where I am an active hiker, walker and Pickleball player! I recently lost my yellow lab who was my faithful walking partner for many years. One of the best things you can do for your dog is to keep him mentally stimulated and physically active. I would love to have your dog become my walking buddy and promise he will come back from his walks happy and exhausted! I prefer clients that live in Eagle Crest because I am most familiar with the surrounding trails, walking paths and dog waste receptacles! ( I will always pick up after your pet) I am most interested in dog walking but am willing to pet-sit for your dog for half/full day, depending on your needs.

In early May, I had to leave my precious 4 month old puppy, Rocky, for four days. I was very apprehensive and extremely anxious to leave him. Kris immediately put me at ease, with her extensive knowledge of dogs and her loving, thoughtful care of my sweet pup. She sent updates and photos, which helped me immensely. Kris is great with dogs of all ages! She truly loves animals and it shows in the way she interacts with your pets. She walked my dog Rufus several times when he was a young puppy and he always came home nice and tired. She also previously had an elderly dog, and has experience with the special care that older dogs require. 100% recommend!
Kris has a genuine love for dogs and it shows in the way she interacts with them. She has walked both of my dogs on several occasions, and alters her pace to match their differing ages and energy levels. She has also helped my daughter adjust to living with a new rescue dog by giving her tips on how to socialize him and gently discourage mouthing behavior that was scary to her. Kris is a reliable, patient and kind person, and I highly recommend her!
