Hello! I'm a long time animal lover with lots of puppy and large breed experience. Dogs have always been a major part of my life and I have experience caring for animals of different shapes, sizes and personalities, although I'm most experienced with large breeds (85 lbs+). Growing up, I frequently did cat-sitting and doggy play dates for my neighbours. Now, I have a 13-year-old chocolate lab who is living out his senior years with my parents (and their big backyard!). In early 2018, I regularly walked dogs around Hintonburg, the Glebe and Centretown. I typically cared for puppies and senior dogs, and had the wonderful opportunity to spend a few months walking an older deaf dog and learning how to communicate with her. I live with my partner in Hintonburg, with an unfenced front yard and close to a large unfenced dog park and many calm paths and streets. I understand that every dog is different and communicates in their own way, so I will take the time to learn your dogs specific needs and quirks and will love them as my own.
