Pet care experience
I am currently a PhD student who works at Cincinnati children’s research foundation. I previously was a vet tech at medvet internal medicine department in Dayton. I have a bachelors degree in animal science and 5 years of working in veterinary medicine before leaving to pursue a PhD. I have been dog sitting and walking for almost ten years now. I absolutely love it! I love getting to know your pets and treating them as my own.

I’ve never used Rover before and was a little hesitant because my dog (a rescue) doesn’t always adapt easily to new people, but Kourtney did a wonderful job. She came and met him before the sitting began and kept me updated the whole week with texts and pictures. One of the key differentiators about Kourtney is her background as a vet tech. This helped ease my anxiety knowing if something happened, she’d know what to do. Ironically during her week sitting, my dog started limping a bit on his back leg and she knew to increase the pills we give our dog for arthritis. I would 100% ask her to sit again.
We have used Kourtney twice now for our 2 rambunctious Golden's and she absolutely amazing! We have come home to a clean house each time and been greeted by 2 very happy dogs. I selfishly want to keep her to ourselves, but if you must, we'd highly recommend her. Thanks so much Kourtney for loving our doggos!

A typical day
I love a good game of fetch! Your dog will enjoy lots of walks, love, and attention. We will get all of our energy out during the day and have lots of cuddling time at night!

Availability
I usually wake up at 6am and leave the house around 8am. I usually return about 5-6pm on the weekdays. Weekends I only work a few hours in the morning and then I am free
