I am a fourth-year veterinary student at K-State. I have worked in a veterinary setting for nearly 9 years and also have worked in a zoo setting for 4 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, reptiles, and other exotic animals/pocket pets. I would love to help watch your animals!

Kortnee was so reliable with updates and photos and loved on my dog as if he were her own. She went above and beyond to reassure me that he was okay because I was nervous to leave him and opened the shades for him every morning so he could enjoy the sun. I appreciate her so much and felt very safe having her watch my dog because of her veterinary training!
Kortnee did a great job. Foggy was well cared for while we were gone. She came even during a snowstorm and kept us informed the entire time

I am available to drop in on houses, especially when you need a vacation. I can feed, water, exercise, and do some basic training with animals. I will also clean litter boxes, play rooms, etc. As a veterinary student, I have extensive training and knowledge when it comes to the health of animals. As part of my visits, I will monitor pet health and keep you up to date on any health changes I see.

For safety, I require a meet and greet at residences with all dogs before scheduling visits or walks. Before we set of appointments, please let me know the following things: 1. Is your pet friendly with other animals and people? 2. Does your pet experience separation or other forms of anxiety? 3. Is your dog known for chewing on household items? 4. Can your dog/cat have treats?
A typical day
“Sniff walks” are a great way for dogs to get out an explore without the need to set a pace. I enjoy occasions taking dogs on sniff walks so that they not only gain some exercise but also the added stimulation.

Availability
BOOKINGS AFTER 5/3/2024: I will begin my 4 year clinical rotations, which means I will not be as available as normal. My schedule will change every 2 to 3 weeks. Depending on which rotation I am on, I may be able to accommodate visits. I will not be able to accommodate bookings booked very far out in advance unless they are once-a-day cat or pocket pet drop-ins. Feel free to message me to talk more about availability.
