Long walks/run and pack walks

Pet care experience

I have a ton of experience in dog walking as well as the drop-in visit. I grew up surrounded by dogs we either showed or did hunt tests with...or just ran around in the woods with. We had 8 labs which I enjoyed walking as a pack. I've managed a kennel of 40+ champion show/hunting English Setters (which includes administering any meds), took care of my neighbor's kennel of about 15 labs or joined her at shows where I was the dog gopher. I was a volunteer dog walker for an animal shelter where I took on the pullers no one wanted to handle and I worked at a vet where I administered meds and gave dogs short walks. I also was a pet/house sitter as a side job during the summers in my hometown. My vast experience and my love of walking multiple dogs allows me to offer you pack walks. If your dog is a high energy dog that gets along well with other dogs and just needs some extra exercise, I offer daily pack walks on the Cherry Creek spill trail, which is about 3 miles round trip ($38 for the hour), done in the morning when it's coolest. Pack walks are great for mental stimulation, socialization as well as great exercise. I have the tools and dog behavioral experience to take on 6 dogs for these long walks as well as my personal dogs (two Boxers). Half hour walks are done with just your canine. As for drop-in visits, I do have dog puzzles I can bring to play with your furry family or I can just play with their favorite toy. Whatever you/they need including feeding or medications. I have experience with cats, birds and other critters if you're needing a drop-in visit for them.

Korrie is a very knowledge and loving dog owner, She has helped me with my dog's confidence and socializing. I know the best care will be given when Shenzi is in her hands!

Korrie is the best for taking care of someone's dog(s). She always puts them first and gives them the best care possible. She will love your pet as if they are her own. Korrie as a person is a wonderful woman who will cherish your friendship as much as your pets. I 100% recommend Korrie Harris as someone you can depend on and trust with your loved fur babies.

I worked with Korrie Harris for over five years. She is diligent, punctual, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She has raised and trained dogs, as well as a host of other animals, for most of her life. She exercises her dogs with runs in the country and taught them to use a treadmill on the winteriest of days. She has taken care of many people’s pets since I’ve known her. I highly recommend her!

Korrie was raised around a pack of dogs and is in her element when she is handling dogs regardless of size or temperament. She knows obedience training techniques and dogs adore her. She is very responsible and loving with the dogs she works with and has great insight on their behavior.

Information Korrie H. would like to know about your pet

Any food allergies? Any medical issues? For the long walks I will need to drive to the parks, does your dog get car sick? With the pack walks I need to know all the dogs have had their appropriate shots and have been de-wormed so nobody's dog is getting others sick. Anything you think I need to know.

A typical day

The half hour walks will be around your neighborhood. The pack walks will be done at the Cherry Creek spillover trail (about 3 miles round trip). For drop-in visits I have a couple different treat based dog puzzles, I know some training games which engage the nose or I can just take out their favorite toy to toss around. I have experience with many types of animals if you need drop-in visits for them as well.
