Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 or so. I’ve always been the one my neighbors and friends call for dog walking or dog sitting. I have taken care of both puppies and senior dogs. I have one dog and three cats. I believe each animal has specific needs to be happy, and I am sure that I can accommodate them.

Korie is one of the best dog sitters we have ever experienced. She loves animals, is incredibly respectful of your space/home when house sitting, punctual, and communicative. When we got home from our trip away it was clear our dogs had been in good hands. One of our dogs is incredibly timid of new people and Korie was so excellent and patient with her. Cannot recommend Korie enough.
We always have peace of mind when Korie watches our dogs. She is trustworthy and treats our pups like her own. Winnie and Bear always have a good time when Korie comes over.
We repeatedly book Korie and will continue to do so! Korie does a great job of taking care of Kai. House was tidy and we had peace of mind knowing our dog was comfortable and happy.
Korie was very communicative and sent lots of pics of my Roxy girl! She stayed in my home and helped keep Roxy company during the arctic freeze we had in Denver.

I tend to request a list of instructions from a client prior to beginning work. In terms of house sitting with the animals, I will often play with them for an hour or so, ensure they’re fed and brush them. If it is a dog, I will take them on approximately 2 walks a day and make sure their waste is disposed of properly. I will also make sure to provide clients with pictures and videos daily of their pup or cat to provide transparency in my services. For cats, I clean their litter box daily and enrich them by playing with toys or lasers. I also make sure each animal I care for has adequate food and water at all times.

If a dog is reactive to animals or humans, has a history of biting, or is not house trained, I would like to be made aware of those details prior to booking a service.
A typical day
When house/pet sitting I will spend most of the day with your furry friend ensuring their enrichment needs are met. We’ll go on multiple walks and play with their toys. I’ll make sure their energy is put to good use and that they’re safe at all times.

I am currently a graduate student at DU, and work part-time on campus. I have 3 hour classes 3 days a week, but I am sure that I can work around my class schedule to accommodate walks/house visits/and furry friend play dates
